Red, White & Black Murrini Glass Ring in Custom Designed Walnut Wood Stand

This Red, White and Black Murrini glass piece was custom made in our glass studio and measures approximately 10" in diameter.  It sits in a custom designed round walnut wood stand that was also made in our glass studio.  It is a one of a kind piece.  
 
This glass was custom created utilizing various glass mediums.  This piece is made by hand, pulling glass into small rods, then chopping them into smaller pieces that are hand placed in a ring.  This piece was designed, cut, and assembled by hand, and required multiple day long firings in our kiln at temperatures up to 1460 degrees Fahrenheit.  This is a beautiful statement centerpiece.
 
This piece including the stand measures approximately 12"H x 10"Wx 5"D.
 
Please Note:  All items are hand made and each is unique.  There are innate characteristics of the glass that may create bubbles or other slight imperfections when fired to nearly 1500 degrees Fahrenheit.  This is a natural occurrence with all glass and does not diminish the beauty of the piece.
